Somatic Breathwork
Reconnect With Your Body. Explore What Lies Within.
A guided somatic journey combining Conscious Connected Breathwork, Biodynamic Breathwork, bioenergetics and body-based practices such as bodywork and energy healing.
Explore physical tension, emotional patterns and your inner experience through conscious breathing, movement and supportive facilitation.
Led by Pete Volos, an Australian Breathwork Association (ABA) accredited facilitator.
Your breath
Reflects your inner world
The way we breathe is closely connected to our physical sensations, emotional state and everyday experience. Somatic Breathwork invites you to explore this relationship through conscious breathing, body movement and somatic awareness.
By shifting attention from thinking to feeling, the practice creates space to notice habitual patterns, connect with your body and approach your inner experience with greater curiosity.
Physical Tension & Body Awareness
Notice areas of tension and explore how breathing and movement influence your physical experience.
Emotional Expression
Create space for emotions, sensations and personal experiences that may emerge during the session.
Patterns & Self-Awareness
Become more aware of habitual responses, beliefs and behaviours through guided reflection and body-led exploration.
Grounding & Inner Connection
Develop awareness of your internal experience and explore practices that may support grounding, presence and self-connection.
Every experience is individual. Breathwork is not a guaranteed treatment for trauma or specific physical or psychological conditions.

Every journey opens a new perspective
A single breathwork session can offer an opportunity for meaningful reflection and self-exploration.
For those interested in working with breathwork over time, Pete recommends considering a series of at least three sessions.
Returning to the practice allows space to revisit personal intentions, reflect on previous experiences and explore new aspects of body awareness at a comfortable pace.
There is no requirement to commit to multiple sessions. Each experience can be booked individually.
Four stages
of your breathwork journey
Preparation of the Mind & Body
We begin with a brief conversation about intentions, how you're feeling and what you would like from the session.
Pete discusses your preferences, relevant health considerations and boundaries before beginning the breathwork.
Bioenergetics
Through guided movement and breathing exercises, we explore physical tension, posture and emotional expression.
These practices encourage you to become more aware of your body and prepare for the deeper breathing experience.
Conscious Connected Breathwork & Biodynamic Breathwork
Pete guides you through rhythmic, continuous breathing techniques, supported by music and attentive facilitation.
Depending on the breathing pattern and your individual response, the experience may involve changes in body sensations, tingling, warmth or emotions coming into awareness.
These sensations can have different physiological explanations and are not necessarily signs of emotional or trauma release.
The breathing practice can be adjusted or paused at any time.
Meditation & Integration
We conclude with meditation, grounding and time to reflect on your experience.
Where appropriate, Pete may also offer an optional stroboscopic light experience to complement the meditation.
This element is entirely optional and subject to additional suitability considerations.
The intention is to allow time for rest, reflection and a gradual return to everyday awareness.
Beyond words:
Exploring through the body
Not every experience needs to be explored through conversation.
Somatic Breathwork offers a body-centred approach to self-exploration. Through conscious breathing, movement and somatic awareness, you're invited to notice sensations, emotions and patterns without needing to explain or analyse everything.
This experiential approach can complement other forms of personal development and therapeutic support.

His approach combines conscious breathing, bioenergetics and body awareness to create a personalised, supportive experience.
Conscious Connected Breathwork & Bioenergetics can be physically and emotionally activating. Certain medical or psychological conditions may make these breathing practices unsuitable.
Before participating, relevant health considerations should be discussed and additional medical advice sought where appropriate.
If you choose to include the optional stroboscopic light experience, additional precautions apply, particularly for people with photosensitive epilepsy or other sensitivities to flashing light.
All practices should be adapted to your individual suitability and informed consent. You can communicate your needs, change your breathing or stop at any time.
