A Sacred Cannabis Retreat
Australia’s First Legal Psychedelic Therapy Retreat

Affordable. Transformational. Profound.

Unlock deep emotional release, reconnect with your body, and access profound insights through Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy (CAPT). These immersive retreats have been created to help you release emotional blockages, enhance creativity, find clarity and connect with your deeper purpose.

These retreat are designed for beginners, sensitives, and seasoned explorers alike, offering a safe, legal, and supportive container for deep inner work.

Unlike expensive international retreats for Ayahuasca or Psilocybin, CAPT provides a legal, accessible, and affordable alternative with equally profound impact. Many find the integration process easier than other psychedelics, making the benefits more sustainable in daily life.

In ancient times, Cannabis was considered a master plant teacher, the boon of deep meditation, and the creator and conqueror of worlds. It was only recently that it was degraded as the “gateway drug.” To us, it is the gateway medicine… to creative insights, physical and mental wellbeing, and deeply meaningful psychedelic experiences.

Most clients describe psychedelic cannabis experiences as a powerful mushroom-like or ayahuasca-like journey with the emotional support of MDMA, combined with its effects on the endocannabinoid system, these experiences allow journeyers to maintain a greater sense of personal agency and an amplified somatic awareness. These traits support trauma resolution and healing.

Parisa T

Parisa holds a gentle, intuitive presence in ceremonial space. Raised within a Sufi cultural tradition, she was exposed from an early age to mystical teachings that honour devotion, unity of consciousness, and the sacred exploration of expanded states. Within this tradition she also witnessed the conscious and respectful use of cannabis in contemplative settings, where the plant was regarded as an ally for reflection, insight, spiritual growth, and connection to the Divine.

Her path has been shaped by a deep curiosity about consciousness, soul memory, and the unseen layers of human experience. She integrates practices such as past-life regression, energy work including pranic healing, intuitive guidance, and somatic awareness to support deeper inner journeys.

Parisa completed her training through the Psychedelic Sitters School in Colorado, where she trained to safely and ethically support expanded states of consciousness within mindful and supportive ceremonial settings. She approaches cannabis as a sacred ally that can gently open pathways to introspection, emotional release, spiritual growth, and remembrance of one’s deeper self. Together with Pete, she helps hold a grounded and heart-centred space where participants can safely explore expanded states of awareness and reconnect with their inner wisdom and the Divine.

FAQs

  • Yes, when used with intention, the right setting (environment), set (mindset), utilising ancient tools, dose dependency and holding space can ignite similar effects as other top-known psychedelics such as psilocybin, ayahuasca and even DMT.

From a scientific perspective, cannabis is classified as a hallucinogen, which places it within the broader psychedelic spectrum. However, the depth and nature of the experience are highly dose-dependent, person-dependent, and context-dependent. Intention, environment, nervous system safety, and skilled facilitation all play a significant role.

In this work, cannabis is approached not as a recreational substance, but as a conscious, somatic catalyst, used to deepen embodiment, emotional processing, and integration rather than to chase peak experiences.

  • No. The retreat is open to both those new to psychedelic exploration and those with prior experience. Everything is guided step-by-step in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Cannabis in Pete’s opinion is the safest psychedelic as it has agency, and users can exit the psychedelic experience, unlike other psychedelics. CBD can be used to relax and calm the nervous system as anxiety or paranoia comes up in the session. Unlike other psychedelics, cannabis can be used in psychedelic therapy up to two, or three times a week as a psychedelic which accelerates growth and healing of the client instead of other common psychedelics that are used monthly or yearly..

  • While psychedelic cannabis journeys are generally well tolerated when facilitated responsibly, participants may experience intense emotions, heightened body sensations, or temporary discomfort during a session. These experiences are not considered side effects in themselves, but natural responses as the nervous system processes sensation, emotion, or stored tension.

At Psychegetics, sessions are carefully monitored and paced to prioritise safety, regulation, and consent. You are encouraged to communicate openly at any point if something feels overwhelming or uncomfortable, and support is always available.

Preparation, clear boundaries, skilled facilitation, and post-session integration all play an important role in reducing risk. This work is not about pushing limits or chasing intensity, but about listening to the body and working within your capacity.

  • IWhile each person’s experience is unique, many participants report benefits such as increased self-awareness, emotional release, and a deeper connection to their body and inner experience.

    Potential benefits may include:

    • Greater clarity around emotions, patterns, or life themes

    • Release of stored tension or emotional charge held in the body

    • Improved nervous system regulation and sense of safety

    • Enhanced creativity, intuition, and insight

    • Preparation and Integration of other plant psychedelic medicines

    • A felt sense of connection to self, body, and present-moment awareness

    • Support with integration of past experiences through embodied awareness

  • Spaces are limited.

You can reserve your spot directly on the page by clicking the apply now button, filling out the form, or book a discovery call if you’d like to speak first.

  • Yes, you will need to bring your own prescribed cannabis. Please check links for medical doctors that will prescribe the medicine, we can recommend certain strains, contact Psychegetics for details. Look for organic, non-GMO flowers if possible.

  • No. You should not drive after the retreat until the cannabis has left the system. Although the law’s will be changing very shortly.

Please arrange transport, a lift, or plan to stay nearby if needed.

Full preparation guidance will be provided before the retreat so you can plan accordingly.

  • Regular or long-term cannabis use can sometimes reduce sensitivity to its psychoactive effects. However, psychedelic cannabis work is not dependent on visuals or dramatic altered states. The focus is on somatic awareness, emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and embodied insight, which can remain accessible even without overt “psychedelic” effects.

For participants with higher tolerance, preparation guidelines may include a short period of abstinence (often up to 24 hours) prior to a session, where appropriate. This is discussed on an individual basis and is intended to support sensitivity and clarity—not intensity.

Each session is approached with flexibility and attunement. The work meets you where you are, and depth is measured by integration and embodiment, not by how psychedelic the experience appears.

  • Yes. Many people who attend are already familiar with cannabis and may use it regularly. The retreat focuses on developing a more conscious and intentional relationship with cannabis.

Through somatic practices, breathwork, and guided exploration, participants are invited to experience cannabis in a different context — one that emphasizes awareness, presence, and connection with the body, rather than habitual or recreational use.

For most people, this help’s shift their relationship with cannabis toward greater clarity, balance, and intentional use.

  • Yes. All participants are required to complete a confidential safety and health questionnaire before attending the retreat.

This helps ensure the retreat is a safe and supportive experience for everyone and allows us to understand any relevant medical history, medications, or personal considerations.

Your responses are kept strictly confidential and are used only to determine whether the retreat is suitable for you and how best to support your experience.

  • Yes. Psychegetics places strong emphasis on integration as an essential part of the process.

Integration support is offered during the retreat and after the retreat to help you make sense of your experience, stay regulated, and bring insights into daily life in a practical, embodied way. This may include somatic reflection, grounding practices, gentle inquiry, and guidance on how to work with emotions or sensations that continue to unfold after the retreat.
