A Different Way
to Explore Your Inner World
Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy (CAPT) is an approach to guided inner exploration that combines intentional cannabis use with somatic awareness, supportive facilitation and integration practices.
Rather than focusing only on thoughts and stories, CAPT invites attention to the body, to sensations, emotions, patterns and experiences that may become more noticeable during an altered state of consciousness.
Sessions are individually guided and may include breathwork, meditation, body awareness and other supportive practices, depending on your needs and the agreed session plan.
✅ Sessions can be done in-person or online.
The intention is not to force an experience, but to create space for curiosity, awareness and personal insight.
Answer a few simple questions in just 2 minutes to explore whether CAPT could be a suitable next step for you.
Three foundations of the work
Body-Led Exploration
Bring gentle attention to physical sensations, emotions and the present moment.
Guided Support
Explore your experience with a facilitator who prioritises preparation, communication and personal boundaries.
Integration
Make time to reflect on what emerged and consider how it relates to everyday life.

A Thoughtful Process
From Preparation to Integration
Every experience is individual. Rather than following a rigid formula, Pete adapts his facilitation to the agreed intentions, needs and boundaries of each participant.
Connect & Explore
We begin by discussing your interests, questions and what you hope to explore.
A discovery call is an opportunity to understand the approach and decide whether to continue.
Preparation & Suitability
Before a cannabis-assisted journey, the necessary health and safety screening is completed and reviewed.
We discuss expectations, boundaries, relevant medical requirements and practical preparation.
The Guided Experience
During the session, Pete offers a supportive, safety-conscious setting for body-led exploration.
Depending on the agreed approach, the experience may include meditation, breathwork, bodywork and other somatic practices with the support of the plant medicine Cannabis.
Reflection & Integration
After the experience there is space to reflect and consider any insights that may be meaningful in everyday life.
Additional integration support is available where appropriate.
Note: Individual experiences vary. CAPT is not suitable for everyone, and no particular therapeutic outcome can be guaranteed.

“When cannabis is used intentionally and skillfully, Cannabis is just as potent as other psychedelic medicines such as psilocybin, MDMA and even Ayahuasca or DMT in a therapeutic setting.”

Safety, Suitability & Informed Choice
A considered approach begins before the session.
Cannabis-assisted experiences are not appropriate for everyone.
Psychegetics uses a preparation and screening process to help assess individual suitability before confirming participation.
For participants in Australia & other medicinal legal locations:
A valid medicinal cannabis prescription from your treating medical practitioner is required for cannabis-assisted work.
You must provide your own prescribed medicinal cannabis. Psychegetics does not prescribe, supply, sell or distribute cannabis.
A confidential health and safety questionnaire must be completed and reviewed before confirming a CAPT journey.
Participation is subject to informed consent, applicable laws, the relevant terms and conditions, and suitability assessment.
Individual experiences and responses to cannabis may vary.
